Display was set up with cars already coloured by class placed on the lines of the 'car park'. Number plates were also written by the class and I asked individual children to place their numer plates on the relevant 'car park' level. This was a display to show odd and evens, place value and sequencing.

the guy that sits across from me at work is a math nerd. I borrowed some paper that was on his desk to take this.

It's a visible link to the past, a way to honour our experience. It's also very compact!

This math equation made my day. I had an answer key but this one wasn't in it and I was still able to solve it. though I'm not sure how often a person needs to know the base of 2 triangles when the combined base and the height are known.
