La Ronde Des Nombres is a collectible Vintage Math Textbook written by René & Suzanne Brandicourt ( a couple of teachers ) and illustrated by M.T Aberdam.
This book is absolutely wonderful. It contains 95 fully illustrated pages and was edited in 1957 by "Les Editions Bourrelier". It's an unusual book, especially for a math textbook.

math number line The number line is better understood as a two dimensional way of representing positive and negative digits in a particular interface in relation with each other. The positive integers are placed to the right hand side of zero on the number line which is also considered as the origin and the negative integers to the left hand side of zero on the number line. The origin or zero is considered as neither positive nor negative.
I also teach functional math, which focuses on math skills that you need on a day-to-day basis. We do a lot of math with money since that is primarily when adults use math in everyday life. We also focus on elapsed time and real world problem solving using the four basic operations.
