After photographing the Estrella Costa Brava in Viladecans we moved to Vilanova to pick up Arcadi and then, after having breackfast in Cubelles, we went to Capçanes, to a well-known curve where I wanted to photograph a conventional train for a long time. Second transfer of out of service carriages to Mora la Nova came on time formed by the 252.058 and 13 carriages, being six of them the ones which had brought the Estrella Costa Brava that same morning and the other seven those of the last Pío Baroja.
Formerly the Unitarian Church (1898)--a back door of--and long since part of the university campus, now used for music and dance studies. The small sign on the door reads: "Dance". The California redwood of the shingles and doors will last a long time, although the painted bits need some attention.
History of the building:

"It was the creation of architect A.C. Schweinfurth of the office of A. Page Brown & Co. of San Francisco and New York. He had been instructed to use only the best materials for each purpose. Bernard Maybeck, then a young member of the congregation and eventually a famous California architect, worked in the same offices and may have helped with the church’s design. It was an excellent early example of the Bay Area Shingle style. "

Las Delicias pier is managed by the Port of Seville. It is the place where the large tourist cruises dock. In it are the Seville Aquarium and the Argentina Pavilion of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929.
Until the middle of the 20th century, it was used mainly for the transport of goods, although since the 80s of the 20th century it was used for tourist cruise ships. In 2000 the old port shed was re-adapted to serve as a maritime passenger station. In 2013 this environment was fenced off and the station was expanded with a modern structure built with containers used to transport goods. Each of these containers has traveled an average of 1,150,000 kilometers, which is equivalent to going around the world 29 times. In the structure, 97% of the materials are recycled.
It is located south of the New York Pier, which begins north of the Remedies Bridge. The Muelle de las Delicias ends at the Puente de las Delicias, which is a drawbridge to allow the entrance of cruise ships to said dock and the access of boats to the Nautical Club, in the Los Remedios neighborhood, which is on the other shore.

A calm, symmetrical elevator lobby in San Francisco becomes a study in balance, texture, and restraint. The composition is anchored by a large-scale portrait mural—human, fragmented, and quietly expressive—set within a dark architectural frame that pulls the eye forward with gallery-like intention. The elevators mirror one another on either side, reinforcing a sense of order and stillness that feels distinctly urban and composed rather than decorative.
The lighting does much of the work here. Three softly glowing pendant fixtures hover above, diffusing light evenly across the space and lending the scene a contemplative hush. Their woven translucence contrasts gently with the crisp geometry of the ceiling recess and the clean verticals of the walls. Below, the stone floor introduces rhythm through repetition: pale slabs interrupted by darker inlays, guiding the viewer toward the artwork without demanding attention.
This is a San Francisco interior that understands understatement. Nothing shouts. Materials, proportions, and light are allowed to speak for themselves. The mural adds a human counterpoint—expressive but controlled—suggesting the city’s ongoing dialogue between art, architecture, and lived experience.
Photographed straight-on to preserve symmetry and perspective, the image leans into quiet precision rather than spectacle. It’s the kind of space many people pass through without pausing, yet it rewards a slower look. In a city known for dramatic vistas and landmark façades, these interior moments often reveal just as much about San Francisco’s design culture: thoughtful, layered, and quietly confident.
A most delightful display of flying dragons created from humble materials of just straw and coloured wool, hanging at the art gallery. They made my heart soar.

Saint Andrew’s United Methodist Church — Historical Overview
Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio
Sources: Bowling Green State University archival collections
Saint Andrew’s is one of Findlay’s long‑standing Methodist congregations, with documentary records stretching back to the 1870s and printed histories tracing its roots even earlier into the 19th‑century Methodist movement in Hancock County.
📜 Founding & Early Methodist Roots (1820s–1870s)
Archival materials include a printed history titled “History of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 1822–1970”, indicating that the congregation traces its origins to 1822, when Methodist Episcopal preaching circuits were first active in the Findlay area.
Key early features:
• Methodist Episcopal congregations in Ohio often began as class meetings or circuit rider stops.
• By the mid‑1800s, Findlay had organized Methodist congregations that later evolved into what became St. Andrew’s.
• The earliest surviving record books for St. Andrew’s begin in 1876, documenting baptisms, marriages, deaths, and membership lists.
This places St. Andrew’s among the oldest continuous Methodist communities in northwest Ohio.

This was taken on our trip to Newfoundland. We were thrilled when had the opportunity to watch this awesome puffin gather up fallen feathers for nesting material. They are such great little birds and always so busy. inevitably they brought a smile to my face and it was easy to see why they earned the name "Clowns Of The Sky ".
Wishing you an awesome Day and a very blessed one too !!

Lovely cucumber and spring onions become the focal point of this picture. Salad vegetables have been a main ingredient of my life since our practice nurse suggested I lost weight to help my health. Today was a milestone for me as after 31 month I reached my target loosing 64lbs in the period. It has been an uphill battle at time but as one incredibly famous cartoon character would say, “Never give up, never surrender.”
Thank you all that has been involved in this process and especially the NHs who set me on this path.
As for the picture it was photographed in Salisbury Square Hertford of the vegetable stall there weekly Friday & Saturday market days.
