Using natural materials, found objects, and furniture pieces, Heinz Frank (* 1939) creates sculptures that evoke living beings. His 1975 sculpture das ein Mensch sein könnte (that could be a human) is made of granite and aluminium - hard materials giving rise to a seemingly besouled form.
The sculpture Heim für gefallene Mädchen (Home for Wayward Girls (2013) of Verena Dengler (* 1981) draws attention to the plight of Jewish women. Herein Dengler takes as a subject Anna O., Sigmund Freud's patient whose case marks the beginning of psychoanalysis. Anna O. was a pseudonym for Bertha Pappenheim (1859 - 1936), who in 1935 donated her important collection of European laces to the MAK.

Hein Frank (* 1930) schafft wesenhafte Skulpturen aus natürlichen Materialien, gefundenen Objekten und Möbelstücken. Die Arbeit das ein Mensch sein könnte (1975 besteht aus Granit und Aluminium- harten Materialien, aus denen eine beseelt anmutende Plastik entsteht.
Die Skulptur Heim für gefallene Mädchen (2013) von Verena Dengler (* 1981) verweist auf das Schicksal jüdischer Frauen. Hier beschäftigt sich Dengler mit Anna O., jener Patientin, mit der laut Sigmund Freud die Psychoanalyse begann. Hinter dem Pseudonym Anna O. steht Bertha Pappenheim (1859 - 1936), die dem MAK 1935 ihre bedeutende Sammlung europäischer Spitzen schenkte.

Comments:
The bottle has the following embossment “J. SCHWEPPE & Co. 51 BERNER STREET OXFORD STREET GENUINE SUPERIOR AERATED WATERS". It has a "blob top lip," that was manually applied after the bottle was complete. The presence of a seam indicates that a mould was used to manufacture the bottle.

A photo project I have been working on. I was always interested in what recyclable materials people dumped into the environment. While most materials are plastics, metals and glass are also common.
Materials: Lego minifigures on speeders, outside.
Idea: The two rebel soldiers are running from the stormtrooper in the background.
Process: I set up the speeder on sqewers with tape to make them look like they are floating. I got the camera low to the ground and used manual focus.

Justin Bettman built an elaborate cinematic set out of unwanted materials and furniture collected from all five boroughs of New York City. To mark the opening of the Tribeca Film Festival, he invited the public to visit the Times Square set and star in a production of their own imagination at the epicenter of the city.
Bettman takes this opportunity to introduce bits and pieces of domestic life for millions of local New Yorkers in the city’s globally iconic commercial center. #SetintheStreet began as a pop-up public art intervention using found and unwanted furniture to create scenes for Bettman’s photographs, left unattended for pedestrians to shoot and share their own images via social media. For Times Square, he consciously invites people to unleash their creativity on set and participate in the cinema of the neighborhood.
