I haven't seen these stripes on a rainbow before, maybe it is rain pouring - I thought it was an outstanding masterpiece by nature.

High status of a brown-red (?) heather dragonfly on the bamboo stick in my garden.
The background is formed by the flowering hibiscus with its beautiful purple / blue flowers.

A great blue heron graced us with his presence while fishing one day. I bet he was luckier in the fishing department than we were!

It was an unusual and somewhat entrancing sight, a few nights back, to watch these four Moose crossing the shallow southern end of Kluane Lake, silhoutted against the fading twilight.

Thor's Hammer sunrise in Bryce Canyon National Park. A short walk from sunset point provides a perfect window to see the sunrise behind Thor's hammer. The hoodoo to the left makes up the structure called the mask. All along this open window provides a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. This particular morning i had started at sunrise point and walked down to this spot. The sunrise was one of the most vibrant ones i have ever experienced. It makes for a wonderful morning starting at sunrise point and making the way down, and continuing to walk in the beautiful morning light.

I bet you're all tired of my window shots. I am tired myself. Seriously, I just can't get out of the apartment for photography in this damn city. I might do a shot outside tomorrow though.
I've grown attached to the idea that I hate my work so much most times because I don't own a good camera. Well, most of you must say that a D70 is pretty good and I don't disagree, but my lens is what's killing me. I truly dislike it. And although I might sound materialistic, I do feel that until I don't get another camera and lens I won't feel motivated to take pictures at all. That's just the way it feels right now. And I've been sad for days because I can't find motivation to do so.
On the other hand thank you for being always so kind to me. I truly do appreciate all the support you always give me.
And I really like this one in black and white, but I guess color adds emphasis in what it's supposed to.
