This beautiful old Continental Typewriter was sitting in the Stairway of our hotel in Bramberg Austria. I had to take some shots! For me it's a typical photograph hanging on the wall of a modern café :-)

Flughafen Sierksdorf (Ostsee) ; hier startet und landet über Pfingsten eine der größten Doppeldecker und bietet Rundflüge über die Ostsee an. Ein besonderer Anblick, wie wir heute bei unserem Besuch feststellen konnten.

Propellermaschine "Antonow AN-2". Der erste Prototyp einer An-2 hob im Jahr 1947 von einem Flugzeugwerk in Kiew ab, wo der Bau der Maschine bis 1960 erfolgte, bevor die Produktion nach Polen verlegt wurde

Airport Sierksdorf (Baltic Sea) ; one of the largest double-deckers starts and lands here over Pentecost and offers sightseeing flights over the Baltic Sea. A special sight, as we were able to determine during our visit today.

Morning haze over a hilly landscape and distant views... it's about time I got back there...
If you look closely you can see that a field is being cultivated or sown below: in front a caterpillar vehicle, behind it the seed drill, on which a woman is sitting and probably monitoring the correct function of the machine?
Morgendunst über hügeliger Landschaft und weiter Blick in die Ferne...wird Zeit, dass ich dort wieder hinkomme...
Wer genau hinschaut sieht, dass unten ein Feld bestellt bzw. eingesät wird: vorne ein Raupenfahrzeug, dahinter die Sämaschine, auf der eine Frau sitzt und vermutlich die korrekte Funktion der Maschine überwacht?
Super Connie HB-RSC
In 2011, the Super Connie flew regularly over our house.
It always announced its overflight with a rich engine sound.
Of the 856 Constellations and Super Constellations built by Lockheed, only five aircraft were flying worldwide in 2011. In 2019, only one aircraft was still flying in Australia, which was not allowed to carry passengers.
Since 2017, the 1955-built propeller airliner (considered the most beautiful commercial aircraft in the world because of its elegant shape) has been undergoing restoration and will hopefully be able to resume flying in 2023. The Super Connie HB-RSC shown in the photo will then be the last Super Constellation in the world to be certified for passengers.

Im Jahr 2011 flog die Super Connie regelmässig über unser Haus.
Sie kündigte ihren Überflug immer mit sattem Motorensound an.
Von den insgesamt 856 von Lockheed gebauten Constellations und Super Constellations waren im Jahr 2011 weltweit nur fünf Maschinen flugbereit. Im Jahr 2019 flog nur noch eine Maschine in Australien, welche keine Passagiere mitnehmen durfte.
Seit 2017 wird der 1955 gebaute Propeller-Airliner (gilt wegen seiner eleganten Form als schönstes Verkehrsflugzeug der Welt) restauriert und kann hoffentlich im Jahr 2023 den Flugbetrieb wieder aufnehmen. Die auf dem Foto zu sehende Super Connie HB-RSC wird dann weltweit die letzte für Passagiere zugelassene Super Constellation sein.
