Is there anyone out there that doesn't have at least one smartphone charger plugged by the bed? I always have either a phone or a Kindle plugged in there.
Most of times is in my sofa! but I was out of town and couldn't take a pic in time, so the second place where i relax is in my bed, so I put this old pic of me and ace! :~
I'm doing the MarchPhotoADay on my instagram (coalescex) but I'm not posting every day's photo on flickr, so follow my instagram to see the whole month!
The view from my master bedroom window. We've really had a lovely day today, highs in the low to mid 70s. Mrs Riley and I spent the day in my backyard, recharging our solar batteries. And it was lovely.
Ok, so I'm doing the predictable thing. But I've shown you all enough of fabric stuff...clothes, bedcovers etc that I thought this would be better. Plus, I wanted to keep it spare. This is out on the long terrace, which doesn't get much use in the cooler months, hence the un-scrubbed floor.
I had a perfect photo for today in my home but I'm not there right now :~
So I took this photo today with my Kermit plush toy here in Savannah.
Taken at Wormsloe Plantation, a beautiful place to visit.
Kermit is my blog's mascot, so he is always with me when I travel. :)

A little cheeky smile by E, while she was playing this morning. She's feeling better now, more peppy and cheery.
These grapes were totally delicious and I ate a bunch (pardon the pun). I couldn't resist a bit of "before/after" in order to make up for my lame picture yesterday.
Day 4: Photo a Day: March 2012 Challenge. Theme; Doorway.
Doorway to an old church hall in Yarraville ... this hall was recently up for auction, so I can only hope some one is going to restore it.
This was as close to a cloud as I came on this gorgeous spring day. 75˚, a gentle breeze, and plenty of sun. Spring is here!
Happy π Day!
This doorway may look fairly blah, but it has intrigued me for years.
Why? Well, up close, this fairly nondescript doorway holds a little secret: melbourne.metblogs.com/2006/09/21/anyone-anyone/
Every time I walk past it I wonder why someone went to the trouble of embedding a View-Master in it. It is placed at an odd height, suggesting that maybe it was purely decorative rather than functional. Or was it?
My wildest speculation to date was that beyond this doorway lay some sort of secret, multi-dimensional hub for steampunk time-travellers. But it was more likely to have been an art gallery or a private gambling den.
Unfortunately, I discovered today that someone has shoved a wad of gum in the left eye of the View-Master, and that the lovely decorate metal number plate above it has been forcibly removed.
Anyone know anything about this door? Would be great to solve the mystery and give everyone who's ever wondered about it some closure! There must be someone out there who knows...
‘Fortuna’, by leading Australian figurative sculptor, Peter Corlett (petercorlett.com/index.html).
Corlett’s imposing guardian looms over the Queen Street entrance to the Melbourne Terrace Apartments, a residential development designed by one of my favourite Australian architects, Nonda Katsalidis (fkaustralia.com/flash.html) .
The award-winning complex has four buildings - Equus, Mondo, Roma and Fortuna - each with its own signature sculpture.
Of them all, Fortuna is my favourite. I first discovered her one blustery Autumn night some years ago when I was walking from Parkville to the city and took a short-cut through the Queen Victoria market car-park. Imagine my amazement at suddenly finding myself looking up at this beautiful angel of death…
Someone described the skyline of the Melbourne Terrace Apartments as “post-apocalyptic Baroque”, and this pretty much sums up what I felt when I saw this for the first time.
