I am back from Korea.
Red maple trees are sososo~beautiful.
內藏山為韓國著名的賞楓聖地
雖然已經接近楓期尾聲了
但火紅的楓零星點綴山頭
還是美到讓人難以忘懷
In the spring, when daytime temperature climb above 40 degrees and night tempertaure drop just below freezing, maple syrup producers tap maple trees to collect sap. The maple tree in the photograph has two buckets collecting sap. The bucket on the right side of the tree is nearly half full. The tree, located at the edge of a woodlot, warms quicker than trees in the interior and is one of the first to be tapped. Depending on the sugar content of the sap, it takes between 30 to 50 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup.
Actually taken May 2nd. I’ve been enjoying this tree so much this year... I’ve never really appreciated it u too now!
