Autumn colour is ablaze at Sheffield Park.

Juvenile male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker sharing it's sap with what I think is a hornet to the right. He's been hanging around for a week and on the same tree. You can see the holes and there's lots of them all over. My backyard, Central Bucks PA.

One of my favourite maple trees; I love its dwarfed shape, caused by exposure to the elements on the open prairie.

Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, with many wonderful deciduous trees full of colour like this Japanese Maple which is a favourite of mine. It changes colour later than most other trees around it, but when it changes colour, its autumnal livery is dazzling!

Melbourne experienced a wonderful Indian summer this year, and as a result, not only are there still plenty of beautiful blooms about, but the Autumnal colours were brilliant.

Maple seed pods. The squirrels eat the buds and there are always lots of pods that drop to the ground whole. I never realized how pretty they were until the other day.

Thank you for viewing my images. Stay well and safe, everyone!
