Longer ago than I care to admit, I was dropping our recyclables off, and saw the face of this ā€˜EXIT’ sign sitting atop a pile of plastic bottles when I opened one of the bin doors. So of course, I took it and threw it into the back of my truck.

A photo manipulated using the Orton Imagery technique. Thanks to my Flickr friend Geoff from whom I picked this up. You can hasten the process by using layers instead of duplicate images. Clicked while on a trip to Wayanad district in the state of Kerala. I felt the roof of the little house enhanced this picture and in a way lifted it from the mundane.

 

No much opportunity for photography as it is the peak of the monsoons in Kerala and we hardly get to see the sun here. So the light is always poor and the local denizens of the animal kingdom are on a break forcing me also to hang up my camera.
