A recipe from the Alinea Restaurant cookbook. Roasted garlic and peppers, olive oil pudding, white anchovies, serrano chilis, dried olives, croutons and cheese covered with melted Manchego cheese, arugula and spices.

This is meal #2010.0463 (I'm still figuring out a numbering system, to see whether or not I actually need a numbering system).

 

Anyway, it is from the Marigold Kitchen, right off Capitol Square in Madison, WI. I did not notice the word "prosciutto" in the menu, so looming was the word "poached" that I ordered it. Thus, this became a meat meal, #7 this year.

 

Chile poached eggs (2 poached eggs with toasted French rosemary bread, prosciutto, and manchego cheese).

 

It's very good, but the meat was extraneous.
