En un lugar de la Mancha, Consuegra, está situada a los pies del Cerro Calderico y en ella se alzan un impresionante castillo dotado de una excepcional torre del homenaje y unos típicos molinos de viento manchegos , que llevan nombres todos referidos a la novela por excelencia El Quijote.
In a place in La Mancha, Consuegra, it is located at the foot of Cerro Calderico and in it an impressive castle endowed with an exceptional tower of the tribute and typical Manchego windmills, which bear names all referring to the novel par excellence The Quijote.
Dans un endroit de La Mancha, Consuegra, est situé au pied du Cerro Calderico et il y a un château impressionnant avec une tour d'hommage exceptionnelle et quelques moulins à vent typiques de La Mancha, qui portent tous des noms faisant référence au roman par excellence de Don Quichotte.
Nunca sabremos los tesoros que tenemos guardados sin saberlo. Objetos que removiendo cajones salen ...aquel reloj que se quedó parado ..el mechero Zippo ...esta foto y los recuerdos de esta foto en uno de los días mas completos y felices que me ha dado la fotografía . Todo salió bien ..la luz las nubes la compañía...Juanjo como conocedor del terreno y magnifico guía ...Ricardo ...todos lo conocéis, y otra persona que no recuerdo el nombre Doce horas por la Mancha dan mucha fotografía . Gracias a los que proporcionaron este día .

Estos Molinos de Viento se construyeron entre el siglo XVI y el XIX, en la parte más alta del Cerro Calderico, para aprovechar la fuerza del viento en la moltura del cereal. Sus enormes aspas, impresionan desde el primer momento. Y los visitantes no pueden evitar recordar el famoso «Don Quijote de la Macha» y el episodio de la lucha contra los gigantes. No se sabe si estos fueron algunos de los molinos que inspiraron a Miguel de Cervantes, pero en la última remodelación fueron bautizados con los nombres de esta famosa novela. El Bolero, el Rucio o el Sancho son algunos de estos bonitos nombres.

Above any characteristic, the horizon line in La Mancha toledana stands out in Consuegra. The giant mills become dwarfs in the distance but keep the stamp of soldiers who escort the castle and serve as caterpillar feet to the sky.
This group of mills of singular beauty is one of the largest groups in La Mancha and the best preserved. The Alfar is served outside the village in the direction of Madridejos.
WHAT WE WILL SEE
The group of twelve mills furrow the sky line of Cerro del Calderíco. Some retain the complete machinery, such as Sancho, Rucio, Bolero and Espartero.
Sancho deserves a special mention, the good squire of the giants has all the machinery of the 16th century and puts it to work for the Festival of the Rose of Saffron: opening its windows watch the wind carefully, once oriented its head and its blades, His stone, Catalina, begins The Grinding of Peace. This symbolic act, which often frequents personalities, truly converts wheat into flour that is distributed in small bags among those present. The mills endowed with the personality of their names do not release their identity from the last personification, with nicknames brought from El Quijote: Sparks, Knight of the Green Gabán, Mambrino, Clavileño, Piggy Bank, Cardeño, Backpacks and Vista Alegre.
The Alfar is a purely Manchego, white and indigo construction. Inside, two furnaces are preserved and you can visit a Museum that includes an exhibition of handicrafts, the Roman remains found in the old alfar: bases, capitals and column shafts, as well as an ancient via crucis.
Por encima de cualquier característica destaca en Consuegra la línea del horizonte en La Mancha toledana. Los gigantes molinos se vuelven enanos en lontananza pero mantienen la estampa de soldados que escoltan el castillo y sirven de pies de oruga al cielo.
Este grupo de molinos de singular belleza es uno de los más amplios grupos de La Mancha y de los mejor conservados. El Alfar se sirúa a las afueras del pueblo en dirección a Madridejos.
QUÉ VEREMOS
El grupo de doce molinos surcan la línea del cielo del Cerro del Calderíco. Algunos conservan la maquinaria completa, como Sancho, Rucio, Bolero y Espartero.
Mención aparte merece Sancho, el buen escudero de los gigantes posee toda la maquinaria del siglo XVI y la pone a funcionar para la Fiesta de la Rosa del Azafrán: abriendo sus ventanucos observa el viento con atención, una vez orientada su cabecera y sus aspas, su piedra, Catalina, comienza La Molienda de la Paz. Este acto simbólico, que a menudo frecuentan personalidades, convierte verdaderamente el trigo en harina que se reparte en saquitos entre los presentes. Los molinos dotados de la personalidad de sus nombres no libran su identidad de la última personificación, con apodos traídos de El Quijote: Chispas, Caballero del verde Gabán, Mambrino, Clavileño, Alcancía, Cardeño, Mochilas y Vista Alegre.
El Alfar es una construcción puramente manchega, blanca y añil. En su interior se conservan dos hornos y se puede visitar un Museo que incluye una exposición de artesanía, los restos romanos que se encontraron en el antiguo alfar: basas, capiteles y fustes de columnas, así como un antiguo vía crucis.

Los molinos de Viento de Consuegra están ubicados en el cerro Calderico al lado del castillo de la Muela o de Consuegra. El cerro Calderico es una crestería rocosa que se alza por encima de la llanura manchega. Originalmente eran trece los molinos y en la actualidad hay restaurados doce.
Windmills of Consuegra are located on the hill Calderico next to the castle of La Muela or Consuegra. The Calderico hill is a rocky ridge that rises above the Manchego plain. Originally there were thirteen mills and there are currently twelve restored.

"Ruta de los molinos de viento de La Mancha"
La imagen más característica de Campo de Criptana son los molinos y el Albaicín Criptano formado por calles estrechas y pronunciadas pendientes, con construcciones de casas típicas manchegas de una sola planta, encaladas de blanco y zócalo de color añil.
