Animation Ice Moon Rendezvous
Zooming in closer and closer, this movie chronicles Cassini's targeted
flyby of Dione, with Saturn and its lovely rings forming a dramatic
backdrop.
The movie begins with Cassini during its approach about 107,000 kilometers
(66,000 miles) from the icy moon. Few surface details are discernable from
this distance, but the view quickly improves. The movie jumps to a point
39,000 kilometers (24,000 miles) from Dione, with Saturn's atmosphere now
in the background and draped by threadlike ring shadows.
As the spacecraft gets still closer, the camera focuses on bright
fractures in the west. It becomes apparent that these braided canyons
slice through older craters. At the closest point in this approach
sequence, Cassini is about 4,000 kilometers (2,500 miles) above Dione's
surface and the image scale is 234 meters (768 feet) per pixel. For a
narrow-angle camera image taken at almost the same instant see PIA07748.
A dramatic shift in perspective follows, with Cassini moving past the
point of closest approach and staring at a large crater on Dione's
receding limb. Steep cliffs gleam in the sunlight as the intrepid craft
pulls away. About three and a half hours have elapsed since the first
image in the movie was taken.
This movie was created from clear-filter images taken during the Oct. 11,
2005, flyby of Dione. All images except the departing view were obtained
with the Cassini spacecraft wide-angle camera.
The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative project of NASA, the European
Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory,
a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, manages
the mission for NASA's Science Mission Directorate, Washington, D.C. The
Cassini orbiter and its two onboard cameras were designed, developed and
assembled at JPL. The imaging operations center is based at the Space
Science Institute in Boulder, Colo.

Turning Vision Into Reality
Nothing could dampen the spirits of the 17-year-old who wanted to open his company in spite of Indian laws disallowing it, due to age bar. His cousin joined hands with him and that’s how his first company Educell came into existence.
Reminisces Shreyansh, “The decision to get into education business was taken carefully by considering all the statistics and data available – 25 percent IITians join financial firms, 20-25 percent get into marketing, 20 percent into consulting, 20 percent into applied engineering and 5-7 percent get into core engineering. These calculations showed us the opportunities in entrepreneurship in the education sector. We realized that India has only a few premiere institutes and students of small towns are unable to reach them due to lack of proper mentoring.”
Through his series of books, his company minted great revenue in a very short span and Sjain series, that unveiled the strategies followed by top IITians, became an overnight success. A year later, Shreyansh opened a company called QEA Eduventure Private Limited.
The new firm started reaping rich dividends and his bank balance started swelling. Driven by the desire to excel in life, he diversified his business to launch DMS Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. at the age of 19 and then his media firm, Next Generation Media (NGM).
Transcending Barriers
The family, understandably, was not happy with Shreyansh’s choice to earn while he was studying. His father completed Ph.D. from IIT-Mumbai while his son was pursuing graduation, but he was far from supportive. Some of the partnerships, despite doing well in revenues, proved disempowering, so he has to start all over again with heavy liabilities.

We also met with the Management of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Fund (NSIA), as well as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria; Mrs. Aisha Ahmad
The day was capped by a private audience with the Honourable Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, who reaffirmed Nigeria's firm commitment to Shelter-Afrique as one of the largest shareholders.

Managed to obtain a photographer's pass to see an intimate gig. Another band performed first, then three members of Wet Wet Wet (including songwriter Graeme Clark) performed a selection of new and old songs.

Managed to complete the framing of this deck with a bumm left shoulder... Super psyched about it cause now I can move forward with all the work I am totally behind on.
Incase your wondering the shoulder is still really sore, I can't really lift anything above my chest, but with enough mega doses of IBUPROFEN I seem to do okay.
If the world does end on saturday it wont really matter... perhaps I should take the day off tomorrow????
BTW, why do people say flare is bad? I like the lens flare in this photo, actually in general I like lens flare.... What gives?
