I inherited this old Lloyd Loom chair, it was a bit tatty and desperately needed some TLC.
So I gave it a little Makeover with fabric and yarn and lots of love...

I met a beautiful woman(both inside and out), the most beautiful woman I had ever seen since i came to SL, who helped give this noobie a makeover, She made me beautiful too. OMIGOD I couldn't believe it, I can finally give Barbie a run for her money. I luv you Ms. Teena, I can never thank you enough!

After months of being frustrated by falling in love with makeup that wasn't for my head, I finally took the plunge and got a Lelutka head. A few hours of tweaking and a Black Friday skin from Lara Hurley later, and this is the end result.
The dress was a Wanderlust weekend sale find from deviousMind, and it came with the adorable little top hat!
Not the greatest of Sundays to be venturing out and about, it being a combination of damp, chilly and at times, foggy.
So, winding the clock back a week and a photograph I took on a walk along part of Sunderland's riverside in NE England.
Looked like a work in progress across at North Hylton where a run-down dwelling appears to be undergoing something of a re-build/makeover.
This spot, just along from the Shipwrights public house on Ferryboat Lane, is a place that has always left me scratching my head and wondering about the story behind it.
A not insubstantial collection of various vessels that seem to have been purposely tided up and left to rot – it's quite a sight.
It has been a while since I last ventured down to this stretch of the River Wear and on this visit, the number of wrecks appears to have diminished.
However, I am aware that one such wreck broke lose and ended up on its side some distance upstream.
Maybe some of the other boats have likewise broken lose and ended up who knows where?
my papin has been feeling left out. No pictures, no fashion, she is waiting for her wig. So, last night Navaeh decided to cheer her up. Papin got a new obitsu, the 25 inch, cause I want some height difference and a complete fashion change.

Yesterday I made a makeover of Raven, but it was a nightmare ... I thought I lost my doll! But somehow I came out of oppression. I gave her a real bad appearance haha.
I can't wait to make her real photos at my mini studio:) In this photo she isn't beauty like in reality.
I've been working on making little fleece tops, scarves, and a few hats for mouse tree ornaments.
I bought the mice on clearance at Lowes after Christmas several years ago for less than a dollar each. I finally upgraded their outfits a bit. I used a thrift store red fleece scarf (0.50) and a thrifted craft kit ($2) that contained a variety of wool scraps. The striped scarves are just strips cut from thrift store kids tops (0.50 each). I did not need to hem any of the fabric so it made the process nice and easy. They look much more festive now.
I hung them on my mini tree which is Maileg inspired.
This is a card I made using stamps from Old Island Stamp Company and Stampendous and Hero Arts..(.the bottom stems under the flowers).

This was one of my favorite photo sessions with the amazing Amanda Richards. It was some years ago, but my memory of it is vivid, and I remember how much I loved this particular look and outfit, as well as the outdoor snapshots that made me feel so absolutely natural in my womanly body and soul.
I miss being active on Flickr, but life has steered me in different directions. I hope to return soon, but in the meantime wish all of you a safe and healthy spring.

My poor petite PAM, not only was her face going yellow, but her body broke and the screw at the back of her head was stripped! Had to break her back plate completely to open her up. She now has a new face and body!:)
