got to ackers pit on sunday afternoon to eat my butty and all 3 cygnets and the mum flew from one end to the other and i didn't have my camera out,about an hour later 2 of the cygnets had a little fly.
I'm not posting this as a sales pitch for Santander, but I like their concept. Simple and to the point. Every successful venture starts with an idea, that's the easy part, making it happen is a little more difficult. How many times have you heard someone say "I wish I had thought of that". We all have the capabilities to come up with great ideas and make things happen if we put our minds to it. It takes guts, dedication, commitment and determination, you have to believe in yourself and what you are doing, then to follow through. Here's to great ideas and making them happen!

Thermocouple sensor for easy tempera
Thermocouple sensor for easy temperature reading, as well as reading temperatures up to 1000C. Thats hot.
After aligning two registration marks, begin stitching the 1/4 inch seam. I hold the pieces just as the Curve Master Presser Foot video recommends. It's just a tighter sewing situation with a full circle rather than a curve, but it's the same principle. Pay attention to registration marks, pulling slightly one or the other to make the marks match up as you stitch past. If they don't match, make up for it in the next quarter so that when you come to the end of the circle, you match nearly perfectly with NO puckers. Theoretically, they should match perfectly all the way around since they are the exact same size circles where the stitching line is. If any part of the circle creases or puckers, take that section out and do it over. You will have to take out enough stitches so you have room to stretch the piece that was too short. Bent-tip tweezers help keep the last bit aligned as it feeds under the presser foot. An additional note: Because you are stitching an entire circle, you must "meet yourself" as you finish the circle. The part that you have just stitched must be brought BACK AROUND a little at a time to the front so that you can complete the circle. Every once in a while, I would have to stop stitching (needle down) and raise the presser foot, allowing the fabric to be shifted slightly. It is during these times that I had to be careful. Even with the needle down, if the adjustment to bring some fabric out from under the back side of the presser foot was too severe, it would make a "kink" in the stitching line. You can see such wiggle lines in my pictures of the back side of blocks. Most of the time, the wiggle would not show after the front was ironed, as the circle evens out on the front side. But, if it showed up as an actual kink or misshapen circle on the front, I ripped out the offending section of stitches and resewed the seam more smoothly at that point.
Once again the Bay Area LEGO Users' Group had a large 2000 square foot exhibit at Maker Faire Bay Area in San Mateo, CA.
