Triptych of screen-printed photographs of my father, myself, and my mother waxed on top of screen-printed wallpaper patterns
92220 'Evening Star' is seen crossing Ribblehead Viaduct with a photographic runpast (remember them?) as part of a Cumbrian Mountain Express railtour on Monday 23rd April 1984. The train ran as 1L41 – 07:50 Euston – Euston (via Carlisle) with steam haulage between Carlisle – Hellifield – Carnforth, the locomotives being changed at Hellifield.
This is a new thing for me, but I do like the layering.
ps. Did anyone feel the earthquake? I did, it was pretty sweet. :)
There's not a lot of old growth where I live, so anywhere clear on the forest floor feels like magic. Just a little light makes way to the bottom, sifting through the canopy, whirling out of reach. I feel like I'm being welcomed someplace, somehow, like any two trees are a doorframe in this woods between the worlds. On the other side, it's exactly the same, but maybe I've changed. Slipping through space, passing through a portal and prying my mind. In the center of a circle, winding wide with room enough for one open heart at once. If anyone else were with me, there's a spell we'd both be breaking. An ironclad incantation, you've got to keep it to yourself.

Back here on the NPBL, NS typically give the belt line crews either a GP38 to use or a Dash 9 as of recent years. I always thought it was a bit silly for the belt line to use a dash 9 with they only used it for switching. So it came to my surprised when I came to Berkeley yard and saw a SD40-2 working the yard. Hey it make a lot more sense the using a dash 9 to work the yard.

Quem leu os post anteriores de Make viu que eu estava com vontade de postar um pretão.
Esse é meu preferido pra sair a noite, é muito difÃcil me ver sem um olho bem marcado e bem preto.
Acho meus olhos extremamente pequenos, e maquiando tento ao máximo fazê-los crescerem.
Esse eu usei pra ir para a Boate no aniversário de duas amigas minhas.
Como fiz:
- Passei lápis preto em toda a pálpebra e esfumei pra servir como base.
- Em cima do lápis apliquei sombra preta opaca com aquela esponjinha, pois faço muita caca com o pincel com sombras escuras. Cobri a pálpebra e subi um pouco acima do côncavo.
- Apliquei um lápis branco na linha d'água pra aumentar os olhos.
- Abaixo da linha d'água esfumei mais um pouquinho da mesma sombra preta.
- Apliquei máscara
- Embaixo da sobrancelha dessa vez não passei sombra branca, mas sim iluminador.
Só pra constar,
a sombra que eu usei é da Jornada, que comprei na Cherry Culture.
Ela é suuuuuper pigmentada, até assusta um pouco.. hauhauhauhauahuahu
Mas vale a pena, e é bem baratinha.

Sometimes you just have to take the shot.... My wife and I visited Butchart Gardens as part of a tour booked through a cruise. It was one of those tours where you pile into a bus and they take you to a place for two or three hours, then you get back on the bus & return to your ship. The ship wants to leave on time, so the bus wants to leave on time, so you had better be on the bus... Not surprisingly I was trying to get as many shots as possible it our little window of opportunity. Just as the bus was about to leave without us, I saw this coy pond & decided I had to have the shot. My wife went on to the bus. (She went ahead, possably to insure she didn't also miss the bus, but I like to think she was stalling the driver while I did my sequence of five exposures...) The good news is, I did not have to walk back to Texas, and I was able to capture a bit of the essence of these amazing gardens. I want my garden to look like this! Around 100 years ago Jennie Butchart, the wife of a Portland Cement magnate, decided to turn their exhausted quarry pit into a sunken garden. The original garden was completed in 1921. Today, over a million bedding plants a year are used throughout the gardens and over a million visitors visit Butchart Gardens annually. It's well worth the trip.
