For today is Friday,

We're gonna celebrate,

Even if i ain't got nowhere to go,

i'm gonna still smile for tomorrow.

Shot this purple beauty, is it Lilly? while waiting for Mamak to finish my "Roti Telur", my late breakfast. Somehow,The Landscape at my Office Piazza has been changed from cascading waterfall with a shallow pool to the hardscape of paver with little Green for Flowers. Not bad actually, but i prefer the waterfall. Just wish i have dslr with me...:). this one with my little compact...:D...masih setia gitu!

happy Friday and have a Good weekend my friends!

I learned how to make this doll size picnic table from an awesome crafter on youtube: My Froggy Stuff See directions here:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=buA6S9fuFq0

I heard about her from Flavasweet. Her videos are amazing and she has the best ideas for how to make doll diorama stuff using simple and recycled items.

This is made from paper: 2 cardboard boxes, half sheet of foam core, scrap book paper, regular craft glue, double sided tape, regular clear tape, and spray paint, and hot glue.

1. Figure out the appropriate height for the bench and table top using your doll.

2. Draw a pattern for the side piece. Fold in half and cut it out.

3. Cut out several corrugated cardboard pieces of this shape. I cut 4 from heavy cardboard boxes.

4. Glue 2 of them together to make 2 sets.

5. Spray paint them.

6. Cut rectangles for your table top and benched. I used foam core, but doubled the benched with corrugated cardboard to make them sturdy.

7. Cover them with scrapbook paper that looks like wood. I found this awesome color at Hobby Lobby.

8. Hot glue the top and benches to the support pieces. Viola!!!

Let's talk about the importance of taking to time play. I used the new Tim Holtz Prize Ribbon Distress Ink along with a colour combination I saw from the fabulous Paula Cheney. I hope you'll call by to take a look.

"Can I make a decent image with a 10 year old light?" This was the title of a recent YT video by a relatively well known Australian photographer/influencer, a truly stupid title to a video as a photographer should know how to make a compelling image with any brand of kit handed to them.

This is the first of a set of images made using a 33 year old system I repaired this week. The Bowens QuadMatic 3KA pack and heads, its so old that the modifiers are L mount that predate the S mount so common today. The reason I wanted this pack working is for the pile of modifiers that came with it, all hard light like magnum reflectors, pans, grids etc.

These frames were shot with a 24" white pan (beauty dish) without grid one pan diameter away from model and a single 12" grid spot from behind with a full cut of CTB gel. WB was set with an ExpoDisk and the images are SOOC.....

Our new puppy is a Standard Poodle we have named Hud, after our favorite baseball color commentator Rex "Wonderdog" Hudler.

Right now he's really into sleeping, and we better enjoy it while we can because at 10 weeks old and about 15lbs, I predict he's going to be a beastly young man.

I have to have strong coffee to get me going. I don't like it with cream or sugar. Make it black...the stronger the better.

For Jack Russels, there is never enough play time. She was determined to play all by herself, which was equally amusing. I will say there is not a day that goes by that Maya doesn't make us laugh. She is truly a blessing.

What makes this photo special is you can see the transition from desert on the left, to the beginnings of the Amazon forest. Cordillera Real, from the summit of Huayna Potosi (6,088m).
