Whew! I am back!!! 7 nights and 8 days- I need a vacation from my vacation! I wish I could have gotten better pictures of the castle but that place was packed- no room to move!! Maybe next time!
This blackberry blossom is catching the last warm rays of the day. The stamen perform a shadow play against the inner wall of the flower, perhaps a story about the coming berries, jam, preserves. Yummy.

Magic is my girlfriend's horse--he is a Stonewall Sporthorse (Appaloosa x Percheron x Thoroughbred). He's big and spotty. He is a clicker trained horse and will do anything for treats! Minolta X700 - Rokkor 58mm f 1.4 - 35mm - Kodak Tmax 400 shot at 1600 - Developed in Caffenol-C-L semi-stand for 60 min @ 18.5°C.

Needles: 15 mm for cables, 12 mm for ribbing
Adjustments: left away those crocheted loops for hands, unnecessary and unpractical.
I received a personal e-mail from my friend, Jean, who lives in Montana with Vic
and their wonderful family of animals. She said she was playing with my photos
again and wanted to show me what she'd done with another photo that I had
taken.
I thought it was wonderful. I am sure my brother, John...sister-in-law, Kelly and
baby Marcus, himself will love this too. Kelly's parents live in Florida and don't
get to see the baby much. They will LOVE this, Jean.
I like it when you play....ha ha.

A lonely child enters a dark, tangled forest, full of lurking creatures, on a mission to reach her destination, a distant cottage. The Forest is fearful, yet it is the basket of roses that she carries with her, her own resources, that grow outwards and turn nightmare into beauty.

Went to the Magic Castle Monday night and saw some terrific magic. It's a private club for magicians and a friend of a friend was performing. He's a close-up magician and did some amazing tricks with that five of hearts in the pic.
We were invited by our friends Steve and Rebekah, who also invited another couple, Erin and Dan. It turns out that Erin is an actress and starred in the upcoming mini-series of Little House on the Prairie. If that sounds familiar, it's because fellow Flickrite Shadowplay posted an amazing set from the shooting of the very same movie! In fact, I think this might be her, unless there was more than one tall redhead on the set.
Just another example that Flickr really is magic!
