What good is a book, if you don't have a bookmark. Think of just how hard it would be to find where you left off, and where you should resume reading. The same holds true for todays e-books.

HMM Everyone.

For Macro Mondays theme; "Heart".

(Each tiny enameled heart measures one half inch by three quarters of an inch.)

HMM - and Happy Valentines Day to all of my Flicker friends.

Rain, it knows its far, far away. And so, it choose to take a chance and wait it out beneath the leafs. In a tiny reservoir, he holds some water, on wich it can survive for a long time. But underneath the same tree, a lot of its friends have lost the fight. Empty shells litter the ground, making for a graveyard of tiny lives that ended by the draught. But rain will come shortly little fella... so stay strong, wait and see. Or so... we hope...

For Macro Mondays theme; "chain".

The width of this handmade rope chain is 1/4 of an inch, and contains a miniscule bead inside. It is tasseled at the ends, and looks like it could be worn as a sash. I have no idea where I got it - but for some reason I continue to hang on to it. Maybe because it is so unusual. In this image I captured just an inch and a half of it, if it were stretched out.

With two feet of snow still on the ground - Baby bear is still sound asleep in her den. All I could see was her two tiny feet sticking out beneath her coverlet.

These gorgeous yellow flowers was growing in my hanging pot in the backyard.

A close-up of blooming bee balm (Monarda), showcasing its fiery red petals radiating in every direction like a sunburst. The blurred background enhances the vibrant contrast and the energy of midsummer blooms.

A tiny 2" portion of a 6x8 inch stainless steel scouring pad, that is used to clean my cast iron pans. It works like a charm with no damage to the pans.

For Macro Mondays theme; "Twist'.

In this image you see a 2" long stylus, with a 1" chain, (the "twist") that attaches to my Kindles (and other assorted devices), through the headphone outlet. It just sort of dangles there, and I never have to wonder where on earth I last put down my stylus. It's actually quite handy for busy scatter brains like myself.

HMM everyone!

HMM!

Have you ever had a tiny package arrive in the mail, and wondered who had sent it? This has happened to me several times in my lifetime - and it brings instant joy, and an overwhelming desire to thank the thoughtful person that sent it. This tiny spool laying atop a new tea towel, just arrived in my mailbox. This time I know who sent it as a note of encouragement was included. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone could encourage friends and family this way? It doesn't need to be anything extravagant - just something to say;

"I am thinking of you, and you are loved."

For Macro Mondays theme; "Say Cheese".

This mini muffin is just under the three inch rule. I chose "cream cheese" to top it, and of course a dab of strawberry jam. YUM!

HMM to all

The small world of Butterfly's and insects in general, is actually pretty massive. Just think about the distances these tiny creatures have to make to find some good food. What looks like a few feet for us, could be miles to them. Its quite amazing really... 😏

One of my favorite butterflies, allthough I love many of them this is a special one. Its a common blue, icarus male, icarus blauwtje man.
