I took this by creating a DIY macro lens through a 50mm lens reversal on top of my kit lens. Thanks to my buddy Josh for introducing me to the concept (and the use of his fiddy!)

Took this at 5 pm. They were planted along the way to my husband's school. I had difficulty when taking this because 1. the background was not that great, 2. too much light and 3. they swayed too much because of the wind! This one turns out better than the rest of the shots.

These tulips were blooming, at work, earlier this summer, and I tried my first macro shots.

this is the center of a small pink flower which is about 2" across. this transparent "crystal" center is about 1/16".....

This little fella was about 2cm-3cm in height. He was just floating in the aquarium tank far from his friends.
