For Macro Mondays theme; "Green".
HMM!
* (Something from nothing? Or nothing from something?) That’s what I asked myself when I put this image together. I had no idea what I was going to photograph for this weeks theme “green”, since I live in Alaska and am surrounded by snow. Suddenly the “sea” popped into my mind, and then I started playing around with a seven month old, half petrified, cherry tomato top (one half inch across – and due to the drying process - a very deep green color). Then I grabbed a few strands of pale green dry moss, arranged it all on a tiny saucer – surrounded it with a lightly diluted solution of liquid dish soap, and using natural light – captured my “sea” idea. The whole image measures exactly 2 inches from top to bottom and side to side.)
For Macro Mondays theme; "Holiday Bokeh".
I was busy wrapping Christmas presents, when I caught the glow of our tree lights reflecting from the tiny 2" bow that I was about to use on an equally small box. It seemed to fit this weeks theme.
I want to wish everyone a happy Holiday Season, and a very Merry Christmas. Oh - and I must not forget - HMM!

Happy Valentine's Day! ♡♡
For Macro Mondays theme: "Details from my neighborhood." I must admit that this theme presented a challenge, since I am surrounded by nothing but millions of acres of forest. But it was fun looking for subject matter. HMM to all of the talented photographers in this group. I am always amazed at your work.
*(This whole image took in an area of about 1 - 1/2" wide by 1" tall. I had to dig a little hole in the ground to set my camera in, to capture this. )

When I took these photos, I didn't notice the little ladybeetle crawling on the petals. These were taken in another neighbour's garden and she had beautiful dahlias growing in all colours. These are not crops and are SOOC only resized in photoshop. They were taken with my 75-300 mm lens and the 36 mm Kenko macro extension tube.
