Thank you very much for you comments.. I wish the flower was a bit sharper but I could not get it to stop moving in the pool :) View On Black
Another shot of a flower on one of my wife's day lilies, Hemerocallis, which, as the name indicates, only last for a day. This is natural color, or as close to it as our camera will come. Lots of pollen! The six stamens, with their pollen-bearing anthers, and the filaments that hold the anthers up, are easily visible. The three-lobed stigma is a bit out of focus, located with three stamens to the left, three to its right. It is held up by a style. Lilies are monocots, which means that they have their flower parts in three, or in multiples of three
Isn't God a great artist?
There are two larger sizes, showing more detail.

long-jawed spider(?) on the underside of a daisy petal. This photo was taken in the John Jeffries House garden at Charles Circle in Boston before it was use to expand the parking lot for the inn. Yesterday I went by the area and saw that now even the parking lot is gone to make space for a new multi-story building on the site of that small parking lot.
Ok..last macro shot for this flower..will upload another =)
Just crazy about macro shot, crazy about flowers...crazy about photography!
Thanks for the visits & comments, i will keep it up ^_^
I found this poor little thing laying on one of my dogs beds. At first I thought it may have been sleeping, as it didn't appear injured or sick in any way. I scooped him up and there was no movement, so I asked politely if he'd be happy to pose for a focus stack. I gathered from the lack of response that he didn't care either way.
This stack contains 11 photos taken at 2x magnification. I may have been able to get away with less, but it's only my second attempt at a stack so I figured the more the merrier :o) It was compiled with Zerene Stacker.
There'll be days
When i'll stray
I may appear to be
Constantly out of reach
I give in to sin
Because i like to practise what i preach
I'm not trying to say
I'll have it all my way
I'm always willing to learn
When you've got something to teach
And i'll make it all worthwhile
I'll make your heart smile
