I found this spider in my bathroom and need a identification if you can help. It kinda looks like a black widow spider, but with out the red markings on it. I think it mite be a male black widow spider do to color and size. Also this spider was up side down when I shot this image. A female specimen showing off her large deadly fangs!
Meet the male misumena spider. Also called a flower crab spider, this species will change its color to match its home plant. I caught him jumping from leaf to leaf, swinging from a strand of silk, on the prowl for hover flies.

It's amazing how a 10$ reverse ring adapter can improve your macro photography!

Another macro shot of frozen water crystals on a spider's web. The blue background is our car. I shot this using the £4.99(inc p&p!) macro lens from that well-known online tax-dodging retailer so it's not the crispest of images but it looks nice! Also if I zoom in and hold it upside down I can see the roof of our house and the neighbour's house and also a dark 'selfie' image of me! (You may have to trust me on this one!)
Macro of spider in a jar. Released unharmed after the shot. One shot 2 x macro. Male jumper with big jaws
