Third time's the charm. The first two photos weren't as clear, and as soon as I took this shot, the spider scurried off to the back of the leaf.

As i was sitting in my office i saw this spider.....so thin and small .......it was very difficult to focus it.

I'm pretty sure of the id on this one. Stack of 4 images with a 28mm reverse mount. I wish it would have stayed put a little longer to get a few more spots in focus.

Not our home garden, a VRBO near New Braunfels, TX. Western spotted orbweaver, probably...

Discovered this stunning little cucumber green spider, Araniella cucurbitina, clinging to the spathe of my calla lily. The spider has a brilliant lime green abdomen and I believe this specimen was a male. The droplet was not placed, but is actually due to the natural process of guttation where drops of xylem sap are exuded from the tips of some vascular plants as a result of root pressure.
