Not many flowers around at the moment, just enough in this Christmas Bush to attract this crab spider.
This is the little zebra jumper I found in my parents' sink (no idea what my parents had planned for it). Adorable, no?
The grainyness is because I switched from Helicon Focus to Combinezm for stacking. Combinezm does a better job all around but it doesn't handle variance in brightness as well.
I can never resist trying to capture the brilliance of tiny water droplets especially when strung along a spider's web. These yesterday were on our driveway and were still frozen.
This is my second spider photo that actually came out close however I want closer! This is the other little bugger on my deck!

Taken using a 20 mm extension tube and then cropped way in. I'm not sure what it is. This thing was no more than 2 mm in size or so. I thought it was lichen on the branch until it starting running from the HUGE lens.
The late-summer spiders on our property haven't been cooperating with my camera. I would love to see their beautiful detail, but they've been staying balled-up, not spread out. Nevertheless, I managed to get this shot of one of them, wrapping up a meal.
Exceptional fluorescence under ultraviolet compared to the same scene illuminated with normal white light.
