A bit noisy work. The bee was not so sleepy :) After ruining lots of stack sets i had to use narrow aperture and high ISO to complete the shot as soon as possible.

The sun has finally came out today and though it's quite windy I've managed to get a few macros shot outside. And since the school year is starting tomorrow who knows what my days will look and what I'll be able to do?! So here they are.. Hope you will enjoy these..
Spotted today in Spain. Clinging to the side of a tablecloth on the patio. Top to bottom measures just over 1cm. Hand-held grab shot in macro-mode. I'm guessing it is some type of moth judging by the feathered edges on the lower wing(?) Anyone?
Green fly - Was not getting any bug to photograph on this particular day and was unhappy... Then saw this little creature... on the leaf. Above my head's height. Stretched my tripod and kept elbow on it and tried to shoot.. Leaf was moving due to slight wind... but got a manageable shot.. The bug looked too good through the lens :-) Hope you enjoyed the shot... Kenko extension tubes + 100mm macro lens .
This unlucky dragonfly flew into our house, and in trying to release it I accidentally injured it. While it was trying to take off, some ants decided to attack it. The dragonfly started to eat the ants (see picture), but in the end the ants won.
Found this little spider on my garden few days ago.
I know it seems a tarantula. But on truth it was as small as a bean.
I love macrophotography!

This person was warming itself up on the rug in front of my door this morning. The whole situation, including cold humid air, reminded me Norway.
Found this guy wandering down the main st of Cooktown making noises like he owned the place. I took him back to the boat and photographed him with my 105mm till he begged for mercy!! He was a lot quieter when i released him in a side street!!!!!
P.S The Rihno beetle can carry 850 times its own weight...pretty amazing bug i suppose!
