I love taking photos of rain droplets on little moss plants, or other tiny plants. You never know what the camera will reflect and magnify, and I do enjoy opening the pictures in the computer to see what's there. Often the detail has been so tiny, I've been unable to see it with my eyes.

Capturing sunlight, one droplet at a time...

"The Business End".

So, which end is the "business end"?

Well,

that would depend on what kinda business you're talkin' about!

And, talkin' about business I have to wonder what kinda cell reception this guy gets with all those antennas.

Note:

A word about technique.

Needless to say I used a tripod to make this capture (where each and every bristle on this guys "antennas" is in crisp focus). But it takes two 2 tango (i.e. both the camera and the subject have to be steady to make crisp macro captures). So I set the camera to "live view" (i.e. viewing on the back screen), pumped the mag up to 10X, and waited for the subject's perch to hold steady for a few parts of a second before tripping the "shutter".

But even then (since the world is a constantly changing place) it's hard to say when things will hold still long enough to allow for shutter lag (and/or human reflexes), so I took a half dozen pics with this one being the sharpest.
