I was quite surprised to find I got the whole proboscis in focus actually... these things are pretty quick when it comes to feeding.
My poor tree at my terrace was covered with this worms and I really don’t know what to do; kill them will perhaps kill some beautiful butterfly :-(. Just hope that the tree can survive this summer.
By the way, I do have nightmare after taking these shots; macro is not a good idea …
