A tame red admiral butterfly ? Not really- this butterfly landed about 7.5 feet up in a tree- too high for me to reach and I figured if I tried to stand on a chair I would spook it. Only thing for it- I stuck a finger under it's nose and much to my surprise it walked on and stayed there for a while

This is what the cabbage white butterfly was leaving behind on my rocket leaves- single eggs. Taken at 5:1, focus stacked and cropped a bit. Egg about 0.8mm tall
My poor tree at my terrace was covered with this worms and I really don’t know what to do; kill them will perhaps kill some beautiful butterfly :-(. Just hope that the tree can survive this summer.
By the way, I do have nightmare after taking these shots; macro is not a good idea …

A very tiny butterfly, a baby-butterfly I guess, just landed in front of me. He or she waited patiently while I lay down and made pictures of it. Thanks.
