Macro of a Dying Daisy.

A female chalkhill blue butterfly on a devilsbit scabious flower in the Bill Smyllie field at Prestbury Hill nature reserve in Gloucestershire.

Thought I'd try out some household macros. The drops are on a mixing whisk and the refractions are coming from the cheese grater behind it.

Snow then freezing rain today around Baltimore, Maryland. Went out in the cold falling rain and ice for some fun with the macro lens. Challenging elements, but fun nonetheless. Sure that the neighbors if they saw me were just shaking their heads :)

I was doing sweet corn on the grill when I noticed how the husk came together. Viola! An abstract picture was born.
