On the brink of 2016/2017 it's done.

Project "Goliath" has ended successfully.

2017 will start with me 100% PC based. Weird feeling but the difference in speed is just bizarre and in all honesty #microsoft #windows10 is pretty stable.

I won't say I stay with the PC for ever. But for now it seems like the only sensible thing to do. Speed and price considering there is a lot of bang for your buck.

If you also consider the switch do realize that it's a totally different eco system. If you want plug and play forget it. You have to able to do some tweaking yourself with drivers and software but in the end of it runs it's relatively low maintenance.

But do (and I really stress this) do buy high-end components. Don't safe on PSU, mainboard, memory and Videocard. Actually don't save anywhere in the end you're still much cheaper than the step in Macpro ;)

I always told myself I would not mod my cases but this was just too much fun ;)

If there is interest I can do a complete rundown of software I'm now using and how I set it up.

If I was to upgrade to the iPhone 7, had to have the jet black, do not need the power of iPhone 7, but could not resist the beauty of this one.

This one is the most beautiful version of the  Watch Sport, at least for me.

Love it.

Cactus Wren (Campylorhynchus brunneicapillus) at Joshua Tree National Park, US National Park Service, near 29 Palms California USA

Finally have my Mac Pro 5,1 running again, albeit without my second monitor working (dongle I purchased didn’t work to connect to the miniDisplay my monitor uses, grrr). Haven’t given up on that yet though. Monitors are much cheaper now though, if I have to pay to get a new one I will, reluctantly. Certainly feels crippled to work in Photoshop without a second monitor…
