I drew this, but now I can't remember if it was an old coffee machine - or an old wine maker! I think wine, since I'm in France. Does anyone recognize it?
It's not just phone booths you don't see anymore. Coin-op tampon machines aren't stocked anymore. Do we have cell tampons now?
This is a mural of the 1975 and 1976 Cincinnati Reds. They were referred to as The Big Red Machine. They led the Reds to back to back World Series Champions. The mural hangs in Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Oh.
A sonogram machine. The label on the pedal says "Freeze"; I couldn't help but think about the huge snowfall that hit this area a couple of years ago.
Martian War Machine from the 1953 movie "The War of the Worlds."
Straight out of the camera. Done in my "basement studio:" a frame built of PVC over which I hung a black sheet. A single flourescent light was used to illuminate the subject.
