Although H.G. Well's The Time Machine has been the basis for many films over the years, this adaptation is by far the best, with Rod Taylor and Yvette Mimieux taking on the evil Morlocks.
On January 5, 1900, a disheveled looking H.G. Wells - George to his friends - arrives late to his own dinner party. He tells his guests of his travels in his time machine, the work about which his friends knew. They were also unbelieving, and skeptical of any practical use if it did indeed work. George knew that his machine was stationary in geographic position, but he did not account for changes in what happens over time to that location. He also learns that the machine is not impervious and he is not immune to those who do not understand him or the machine's purpose. George tells his friends that he did not find the Utopian society he so wished had developed. He mentions specifically a civilization several thousand years into the future which consists of the subterranean morlocks and the surface dwelling eloi, who on first glance lead a carefree life. Despite all these issues, love can still bloom over the spread of millennia.

English Electric-built Handley Page Halifax II, W1048, was recovered from a lake in Norway called Lake Hoklingen, in 1973.
At approximately 00:45hrs on April 28, 1942, with the starboard-outer engine on fire, the aircraft made a forced belly landing on Lake Hoklingen which was frozen at the time. The planewas returning from an attack on the German Battle Ship the Tirpitz. After the crew had escaped from the aircraft the heat of the burning engine melted the ice, whereupon the aircraft sank to the bottom of the lake bed.
At one point there wer plans underway to fully restore the plane but upon closer inspection of the air frame the idea was scrapped. I 'm sure it could be done but no one is willing to spend that kind of money to make it air worthy

Lampreys are the elite of the COBRA sea-arm. To qualify for Lamprey training, a candidate must be a COBRA Trooper in top physical condition who has completed his EEL training (EEL's are the Frogmen underwater demolition specialists of the COBRA legion) and has been operational as an EEL for more than a year. The training is highly selective and more than 50% of the applicants wash out before completing the course.

Given the lovably eccentric owner of the joint (Randy Senna), it makes sense.

I got wet. It was well worth it for this shot. After he chucked a water bottle into the crowd and then violently slammed down his mic stand shortly afterwards, I decided this was clearly the dude to follow and I pretty much ignored all the other band members. Unfortunately he didn't too much else that was totally crazy.

Cool! Used to address envelopes for mailing lists. Must work with Adddressograph plates, the dimensions look similar to the Addressograph holders... Not sure though. Not documents with it. Very clean, all parts are moving freely and it looks ready to plug in and go! For sale of course!
