When we bought our home here in Bonnie Scotland many years ago there was one or two old pieces of furniture and the like left. The house was owned by two very elderly sisters who had both died (one died in the house) and the estate asked if we wanted to purchase any of these items for a small fee. My wife purchased, if I recall correctly, an old chair and some bits-and-bobs along with this "ancient" Singer sewing machine ~ the treadle style.
Today, this sits in one of our rooms (with the actual sewing machine, hidden within the original box/cover) and my wife always has fresh flowers and candles sitting on it. This particular model is very old and hopefully falls into today's challenge (I think) perfectly!
To add some "age" I did a little sketched processing.

SPB Machinery offered a Semi-automatic surgical mask making machine that can produce a 1-3 layer non-woven mask with high efficiency.
Fine silk machined onto soluble backing kept taut in hoop. Backing dissolved, apple pinned and dried, then machined to felt background.
A shot taken while out working at a factory in Redditch in the Midlands. This is a CNC machine tool machining titanium alloy forgings, the cutting tool is hidden by the flow of coolant and the pile of metal chippings or swarf.
The Japanese sure love their vending machines. There's ELEVEN in a row in this picture; six of them cigarette machines and five for beverages.

This old sewing machine was just one of the many old treasures that my Nanna dug out for me so i could do my heritage assignment. It is hand powered and my Nanna actualy used it to make clothes for her dolls. It had been passed down to her from her mother so it is very old. and the coolest thing of all tis that it is now sitting on top of my desk, in all its vintagey glory :)

Micro Machines produced an American outline steam loco, which was made in three liveries, this is the plain black version, No 3283 on tender. In the siding, are both colour variants of the flat car, the nearest one, lettered for Conrail.

what the photo doesnt show is the very beautiful silver paint with a lot of glitter i used as first coat. because of that the whole thing is a very thick colour print and the glitter is unusual beautiful : )

I saw these cool vending machines in Harrison's Comics and Collectibles shop in Salem, Massachusetts. They sell very nice looking little toys, but they are not really anything I really needed. I know a few places in New York City that has these sort of vending machines, but not with a selection this big!

I got an old sewing machine at goodwill and steamed it up with brassy bits! The propellers spin when the drive wheel and thread move.
