Wow, so the past few days have been crazy. Production for the Wednesday paper on Tuesday, and shooting material for Friday's paper on Wednesday, and then production again today on Thursday for tomorrow. at least today we stayed in the office 2 hours less than yesterday, we're finally getting into the swing of things.

I still haven't found a suitable mousepad for my mac.

It has been sad to follow the situation whereby Mac Ewans have lost all of their work between Dumfries & Edinburgh in the last few weeks, and the subsequent failing of another PTE to make proper alternative arrangements with tickets & feeder services with thought for people who use the buses. You need to pick the right day with john, but he certainly picked the right bus with these fine machines bought for the Carlisle - Galashiels service which provides a lifeline to many in this area. This was P151KSM heading North through wonderful scenery in May 2001 as the road camber lists slightly. Mac Ewans are masters of vehicle & service utilisation with great local knowledge & understanding, the bus had spent the night "sleeping out" at Carlisle for the first North bound journey. This saves time & fuel but the bus would be allocated necessary attention during the course of the day with careful planning ( for example a wash & refuel / sweep out ) without going anywhere near Dumfries. Ive never heard a bad word said about these Prisma`s, reliability & construction are apparently second to none. When Mac Ewans lost this contract the vehicles ended up with East Yorkshire who acquired a taste for them with home grown examples, later this one went to Ireland for further use. Good buses.

Who remembers when Mac the Knife was working for Ronald McDonald... LOL

No, these weren't part of the same dinner. Just some box mac and cheese I whipped up ahead of time so my husband had something to eat tomorrow between work and school. It was cooling off before going in the fridge. (And yes, this was also cooked in the time it took to make the one stinkin' pot of brown rice! lol)

This video was from a recent visit to MAC where I purchased some lashes. They are not the cheapest, but the good thing is the staff will apply them for you if you ask, something which always takes me ages, accompanied by plenty of swearing! It was also a nice feeling to be in that all-female environment.

Mac stopping to take in the scenery!
