M Travel introduced the fast X64 from Garforth & Kippax into Leeds via the Motorway and new roads in East Leeds last year. Solos now sometimes appear, this one came from the Scottish Lowlands at Mac Ewans, rendered surplus by service changes there. It is seen here at Cross Green inbound during February.

Record shot of a rather rare visitor to Warton in the shape of a C-17 belonging to the Qatar Air Force. Expecting it to leave early, it sat in this spot till late afternoon and by that time, I'd long gone from Warton!

Simplesmente simples e delicioso.
Bate-se 4 ovos com 450 g de açúcar.
Junta-se 200g de margarina derretida em fio, batendo sempre.
Sem parar de bater, acrescenta-se 300g de farinha peneirada com 1 colher de chá de fermento.
Descascam-se 4 maçãs e cortam.se em fatias finas.
Numa forma untada e enfarinhada, vão-se alternando camadas de massa e de maçã, polvilhando a maçã com cenela.
Leva-se ao forno a 180º. Para ver se está cozido, faz-se o teste do palito.
Eu só fiz meia receita, dá perfeitamente para dividir, quando se quer um bolinho pequeno.

I think that the car in the foreground is the famous 1955 Mercedes-Benz W 196 R 2.5-liter streamlined. this car was already 290 HP and could go up to 190mph!!

MAÇÂS.....fruto proibido que expulsou Eva do paraiso.....na mitologia céltica essa fruta simboliza a magia, a imortalidade, o conhecimento. No período medieval, a ingestão da maçã significava a possibilidade de atingir o conhecimento através do livre arbítrio.

No, these weren't part of the same dinner. Just some box mac and cheese I whipped up ahead of time so my husband had something to eat tomorrow between work and school. It was cooling off before going in the fridge. (And yes, this was also cooked in the time it took to make the one stinkin' pot of brown rice! lol)
