Mac and his siblings are some of the sweetest most loving cats we have ever had. It seems that something was transferred from their Mom, Holly, whom we rescued several years back. They were born in our kitchen and are the most people oriented “people” we have ever known!

I would like to say that these common gulls are following a traditional Scottish fishing boat as it steams down Loch Linnhe from Fort William.
The unpalatable prosaic reality is that they are mooching for a chip from a certain non-Scottish Scottish sounding burger chain in Fort William.

Romain Evans
Evans, Romain, 66, of Oakland Park, FL, passed away on February 17, 2009. Kalis-McIntee Funeral & Cremation Center, Wilton Manors.

Hi, Sweetie,
Some of your "Anhingas" aren't. They're Cormorants.
The ones you took in 2006 (and tagged "anhinga") are correct.
The ones (I count 3) tagged "anhinga" in 2008 are really "Cormorants."
You can tell them apart by two things:
Cormorants have vivid BLUE eyes -- Anhingas don't.
Cormorants' beaks are hooked (on top). The top beak curves down over the bottom one, in a hook shape.
The Anhinga's beak is straight, all the way to the horizontal, pointed tip.
Thought you'd want to know so your labels, titles, etc., will be correct.
