Some of the very handsome old cottages and houses in Lower Largo in the East Neuk of Fife, rich farmland behind them inland while they mostly look out onto the mighty Firth of Forth and the North Sea. Took more pics than I meant to, mostly because the light was so gorgeous today that I couldn't resist these lovely old homes, mostly whitewashed, many with the red pantile roof slates, a trend brought back from the trade routes from this part of the coast to the Low Countries centuries ago (the tiles were often used as ballast on return trips by Scots merchant ships, hence why a number of old buildings on the east coast have these very European style roofs.
Looking west down the north arcade and aisle said to have been rebuilt with the north clerestory in 1649; and again in 1878 when the massive square piers were cut down to their present octagonal forms and provided with capitals and bases of 14c style

Most of the mills in Mumbai used to be in this area till some years ago. Now, most of these mills have shut down. Lower Parel is Mumbai's new posh, it is now dominated with luxury skyscraper apartments, upscale restaurants and bars, premium office space, luxury hotels and boutiques from around the world
falling in all over the place, that water will do practically anything to get down into the river again :^)

June 14th, 2013 - 44 Quiet Nights, Day 16 - Box Canyon, Idaho to Idaho Falls, an easy day in preparation for a visit to Blackfoot and the International Potato Exhibition therein.
Early morning chorus that day: Wolves. First a distant couple, then a couple closer, then another pair much closer. Nice alarm clock.
Beale Wildlife Park and Gardens
Located by the River Thames, between the villages of Pangbourne and Lower Basildon in Berkshire.
The park was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale as his own private park. He was a keen collector and breeder of peacocks and these birds still roam free in the 350 acre park.
The main attractions are: collections of small exotic animals, farm animals and birds, landscaped gardens and woodlands.
There is a children's play area for families.
Kalavinka dropouts. The seatstays use a lightweight cast wishbone.
This frame is one of a short production run I finished recently. You may see me riding on one of the 56cm versions; this frame is still looking for a home (you can contact me for more information).
Lower Yellowstone Falls. Unfortunately, we a solid gray sky and some snow. Not the best light for photography, but still a great place.
27 July, 2023 — New York, NY — Governor Hochul and Local Leaders Reveal Major Housing Breakthrough Bringing Affordable Units to Lower Manhattan at World Trade Center Site (Don Pollard/ Office of governor Kathy Hochul)
Situated above the River Avon and cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust. West gallery, decorated with 22 painted apostles and other saints, with Christ at Centre. Rustic late C15 painting, restored in 1875. Perhaps from former rood screen, but dimensions don't match chancel : detail - St Anthony
Premier John Horgan meets with the Hon. Stephan Weil, Minister-President of the State of Lower Saxony, Germany to discuss common priorities and bi-lateral cooperation.
The scene looking through one of the viewing screens at Lower Test Marshes nature reserve, between Totton and Southampton, in Hampshire. A composite image made up of four separate pictures. I've reached the conclusion, putting this together, that composite images involving electricity cables are not the easiest thing to get right! Some of the cables, as you may notice, have a few imperfections in them, which, if anyone from the National Grid is looking at this picture, aren't, rest assured, there in reality!

Lower Manhattan basks in the sun on Saturday, September 8, 2001, with the twin towers of the World Trade Center standing tall above the skyline. Taken from a film camera, photos were limited to the amount of film remaining and had to be budgeted accordingly throughout the day. I only took a few skyline photos that day, but three days later this view would change forever and photos like this would become historic.

Buttermarket Street.
Belting little town centre boozer often with up to eight real ales on offer. Very friendly staff and regulars. I had two great pints today. Hophurst, Twisted Vine and Anarchy, Sublime Chaos. A must if you're in the town.
This picture shows the lower antelope canon which is not as wide as the lower antelope canyon and less crowded. At certain times the canyon starts to glow like shown in the picture.
This picture is available for commercial release as i could get the permission from the navajo community to use those pictures commercially.

The impressive pavilion at Lower Ground, Hunts Hill Road, home to Normandy Cricket Club. Opened in 1999, it replaced a much smaller structure. Pictured during a 20-run defeat by Ryman Surrey Championship Premier Division rivals Sutton.
Match statistics: Sutton 226-8 off 50 overs (Garth Davson 78, Harry Allen 54, Gary Outram 37, Vignesh Venkateswaran 4-40) 20pts beat Normandy 206 off 49.1 overs (Ian Prowse 48, Howard Grice 47, Chris Jones 25, Garth Davson 4-37, Harry Allen 3-40) 5pts by 20 runs. Sutton won the toss and elected to bat. Attendance: 40.
Normandy Cricket Club were formed in 1896. After spells at fields near Westwood Farm and in School Lane, they moved to Hunts Hill Road, part of Normandy Common, in 1947 when Lower Ground was ready for use. Upper Ground, a second square on adjoining land, followed in 1991. Despite being a village club, Normandy have attained ECB Premier League status.
