St John the Baptist, Lower Strensham, Worcestershire, cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust since it was declared redundant in 1991 . Now quite isolated , it was once part of a village gone by the end of the 14c, surrounding a castle to the west destroyed during the 17c Civil War .
It consists of a 14c nave, chancel, late 14c / early 15c tower . South porch. Renovated in 15c with new windows ceilings . North vestry added early 19c
In the churchyard is the base of a medieval cross.

The towerhas 6 bells . Originally five cast by Abraham Rudhall in 1704–5; the fourth and fifth being broken were recast in 1911 by John Taylor, and a new treble added. The inventory of 1552 shows that 3 bells were originally bought by Sir John Russell at the Dissolution from Bordesley Abbey to replace 3 others sold 10 years before.

I'm just going to post whatever I find in whatever order, or I fear I'll never find my way back to flickr and photos.
Largo was served by the railway that ran from Thornton Junction to St.Andrews. It was a victim of the Beeching cuts closing in stages between 1965-1969. This four arch viaduct is still a landmark in the village. It spans the Hatton Burn and seems to be in good condition. Both ends are fenced off, so, no public access. View looking west, the nearest arch frames Largo Harbour with The Firth of Forth in the distance.
The Lower Cliffe Glacier, seen from the summit of Argus Mountain.
Taken on a trip to Argus Mountain, Mount Harmston, and The Red Pillar including the Upper Cliffe Glacier and Lower Cliffe Glacier. Entry and exit were via Oshinow Lake.
These falls can be found in on the Upper Kananaskis Lake trail as it rounds the North West corner of Upper Kananaskis Lake.
I was worried about being able to get this shot because of the sun's position. Luckily for me, the sun went behind a cloud for a bit giving me a chance to slow down the shutter. I still needed to use a neutral density filter and to set the ISO to LO-1 to get a slow enough shutter. I honestly don't remember if I threw the polarizing filter on for good measure...
Then at the bottom of the Strolling Pond Garden is the Lower Pond. Portland Japanese Garden is awake and ready for summer. Two images stitched and cropped.
Just leaving Lower Denby stopped to take a rest.
I was a little "cream-crackered" by this point. There are just too many hills near me and I always seem to start at the lowest point :(

Lower Calf Creek Falls in the Grand-Staircase Escalante National Monument.
This photograph was taken during the "Utah's Golden Circle" workshop/field seminar with Rick Knepp during October 2010.
October 20 was the big day - our big hike of the trip - and that too, we were hiking to the Lower Calf Creek Falls. The photographs I have seen from other photographers of this waterfall had me very eager to try my camera out on these falls.
It was 3 mile hike - but since we started a bit late, I was eager to just get to the falls. I made it to the falls just in time - the sunlight was full on the falls - however the shadows were creeping in from the left - it was past midday. The sun was full on the falls, making it difficult to get the silky smooth water flow. This was the perfect opportunity for me to try my ND filter - and I loved the filter. I put on my Neoprene socks and into the water I went with my 10mm wide angle with the ND filter and remote release.
I had a lot of fun photographing here. The neoprene socks and the ND Grad filter were absolutely essential - not to mention my tripod. I am very pleased with the photographs I made of this waterfall.
By the time this photograph was made, the shadow of the canyon was on the upper end of the waterfall. This caused the white patch of rock to glow and the water to turn bluish. In my post-processing, I used Tony Kuyper's photoshop action called "Make it Glow" to get the glow in the photograph like how it looked that afternoon.

Lower Klamath Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Siskiyou County, CA in September 2000 during an average water year in which the refuge was allotted water. In 2001 this same area had gone dry due to drought and over allocations of water to agriculture.

It is still messy but you can see how much I re-added to fix the angle so the joint in the torso should now behave more naturally and slide to flex instead of popping. The arch looks great and will only require a little bit of sanding to get the sculpt to have a natural look in the front when he has his shoulders back.
