~The War Cry
This is from about a month and a half ago on a walk I did through downtown Pittsburgh. Like my shot a few uploads ago, the flare got diffused by the clouds, and I was trying to get the signs in the shot as well, and this was the best I could do without a wide angle!
This is another reason that I love HDR...it would be impossible to get the building that well exposed as well as the blue of the sky without it!
I hope you all enjoy your weekends, and GO USA!!!!
I don't mind invitations, but please no big, shiny, flashing, glitter graphics, they will be deleted. Also, please contact me if you would like to use my pictures for any reason, as all rights are reserved. Thanks!

Well, I am living in this building called 'Seminaire Saint Sulpice"(Paris) it was build in 1704 and I am living on 3rd floor of this building and from tht turn , steps are made up of wood and every day I can listen to TAKK TAKK(sounds) of my shoes...(This is why I love HDR, it's even captured very minute detail of the light).
What do you love the most about Cinderella Castle?
The other morning I walked into the Magic Kingdom before guests were allowed to enter the gates and stood behind the castle waiting for the sun to rise. It was an amazing feeling to be standing here in the quiet of the morning. I set up my tripod and actually sat there for almost an hour waiting for the sun to climb high enough to touch the spires. I actually opted for this shot of pre-sunrise because of the colors . I love how the...

I like to be different...so I've been trying to get a little more creative with my processing...as much as I love HDR and all the other fantastic processing others do I don't have the time to learn it...so I go for quick and easy...this is what I came up with last night...I don't recall ever seing anything like it so I was quite happy that it was UNIQUE...I hope you like it too...
I don't know about you but to me, nothing says YUMMMMMMM better than a strawberry dipped in chocolate...that is another shot I hope to do soon...
Have a Superb week ahead , my dear flickr buddies...Nat :)
This is my first real try at HDR. I eventually used one RAW, converted it to 5 different exposures, 1 stop apart. Combined those in Photomatix and worked the tone mapping. After this it was back to Photoshop, laying the TIFF result from Photomatix over the original picture converted to grayscale. Then the crop et presto! I love HDR, that's all I can say...

From 2012 ... a beginner with my Nikon Coolpix camera. Which took really easy HDR shots. I loved HDR from the git go!
Here's Miss Blaze Smith in Sebring, FL looking out the front window of our little villa. I <3 HDR and Window Wednesdays!
In my attempt to make Disney World Glow, I give you this... Rockin' Rollercoaster Glowing! I love this ride. Especially since this is the only ride in all of Walt Disney World that will send you upside down. "I like that idea!" I'm all for the exciting and adventurous rides. I do like me some classic dark rides, but when I need to get some thrill on, Hollywood Studios houses two of the best. I'm getting to love that park more and more. I am sad to see so many things go away before we get the new things like.... blog.digitalelegance.com/glowing-rockin-guitar/
Of late, I've found myself attempting to get more out of RAW files, to bring out more natural beauty of images, the shadows, the soft light, and motion. I've gone back to reprocess, or just process, some older shots that I was never really completely happy with. This image is a single RAW, plain and simple...and I think i'm finally happy with it. The previous version of this shot was an HDR, and while I love HDR (don't get me wrong), I felt it didn't really capture the landscape very well.
I think this week, I'll just put out some old shots that I've reprocessed and anyone viewing this stream can feel free to voice their opinions and preferences. Thanks a lot...
All taken with a wide angle lens set at 10mm.
Wow I just love it already (wallet is now empty). Only got it this evening and even though weather was a little overcast I had to go and have a play and I love HDR so thought this would suit it well
I love HDR, But not the highly Saturated look, Keeping it natural and original is what i like :)
3 exposures Shot at -2, 0 and 2 Handheld
Converted to HDR in photoshop.
- One layer to highlight the Blue saturation
-One layer to increase the Grass vibrance
- little Dodge and burn on the haunted house
Your Suggestions are always welcome.
What sit-down restaurant in Hollywood Studios is your favorite?
One morning, I was walking around Hollywood Studios looking for new things to take photos of. I'm kinda lucky in that pretty much everything here in the World is new to me and worth taking photo of. I walked into a place I had heard about and have been excited to see since I got here. The Sci-Fi Diner. The outside of this place doesn't...

Do you "Fall" in love with the Magic Kingdom Decorations?
Once again I was kicked out of the Magic Kingdom. Security was tight after the park had been extended an hour. I didn't want the extension. It meant that I would be leaving the park later than expected and that most people wouldn't be as nice as they usually are at the end of the night for photographers with tripods. Although, the plus side meant that no one else would be lingering in my shots...

Are you sad to see Halloween leave already for Christmas?
I decided to use this photo over others because I feel the Halloween wasn't here long enough. As I was getting pushed out of Magic Kingdom, I stopped to get this one last shot It was already after midnight and the park was supposed to close two hours before that, but got extended and then we were taking pictures until an hour after that. I'm sad to see Halloween go, even though I'm really...

This scene is actually much darker than it looks in this photo. Gotta love HDR. This is the result of a five exposure EV bracket / tone map HDR. I honestly can't decide if I like this shot or not though. Something feels off about the composition to me.
Please be honest and tell me what you think, I appreciate it!
