These aren't just any Rocky Roads. These are Hanski's Luxury Rocky Roads with extra dark chocolate, dried cherries, mini marshmallows, almonds and pecans. Sorry Nigella but your milk chocolate and brazil nuts wasn't gonna cut it so I used my artistic license on this one. Very glad I did, they're absolutely wicked!

I have always loved the fact that the bricks on our house have sporadic hearts engraved in them. When one of these little hearts catches my eye, I am often reminded that it is indeed love which makes a house a home.

My dad bought these silly mugs for me last year for Christmas. One of our family traditions is to watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. We sit around to table quoting it every year. So these mugs were a PERFECT gift form my dad.
Every Sunday evening, either my mum or my dad would cook something for us. Since I've been stressed and bleh lately, my dad decided to cook something that he knew his "pasta girl" would love.
My dad is, by far, my favourite cook and will always be the best cook, in my opinion ♥
Tonight's dinner
Salad of iceberg lettuce, alfalfa sprouts and cherry tomatoes tossed in olive oil with vinegrette (Thousand Islands dressing for my youngest brother)
Thin slices of baguettes with a very thin layer of butter on top, toasted in the oven till crispy and lovely, thick humus to spread on top

My husband and my son. My son is now 12 and about 2 inches shorter than I. I thought this picture was neat because Michael thought he was riding a motorcycle like his dad. This a film photo that I scanned in.
Architectural designs from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s are disappearing at the same quickened rate as any other, maybe more popular, classical style. All being replaced by same high density urban structures you can find anywhere between the Yukon and the Florida Panhandle popping up in a hurry. That is why when we saw that someone was removing this insignificant brick wall from our small town grocery, I felt I needed to take a picture with it.
PS... if you go to Sedro-Woolley, shop at the Marketplace... they play the best tunes!!!
