The Everyday Project is to portray the appearance of a person in everyday life, no matter what time of day it is with insomnia, beautiful, ugly, sick, skinny or fat. Thought to document some friend, but it is difficult to see the same person every day, so I decided it was more practical to self portrait, despite not liking to leave the photos will be a challenge, anyway post some photos where you can not see well, is quite complicated, enjoy!

A close friend and his wife approached me to take a few shots of them as they prepared to welcome a new addition to their family. I took up the task and here are some photos from the shoots that took place at the couples home in Bangalore.

We didnt have much area to use so I decided to use just one light. And sometimes thats
all you need. I love pushing my photographs to a different level. Trying new things. In this
case, I had a successful shoot using face paint. We used Emily's apartment for this sesh.
I would like to thank Lauren for this amazing idea for face paint. Both Brandon and Emily
for the space. I used the abr800 w/ diffuser. I stood next to and under the light, which is
why you'll see a shadow cast behing the subjects. For those who have visited my page
on Myspace, you'll see where the Brandon idea came from. He definately pulled it off way
better than the one I did a while back.
Future lookouts
I still have to post some pics from the camping trip. I have my second band photoshoot
on Tuesday. Looking forward to that. Warped Tour 09, although I have yet to hear from
MSO pr, the press company supplying passes this year. This was harder than I thought.
I'm still excited cuz its my first Warped and even if I dont get a photo pass, I hope to get
sweet shots from the event. I've also decided to join the Tumblr community (couldnt help
it). So anyways, follow me on Tumblr if you'd like. I'll be blogging over there too along w/
flickr and facebook :D
we are back from chicago and reluctantly slipping back into normalcy. this is my last day off and i plan to enjoy it as much as possible.
to say our trip to chicago was amazing feels like a huge understatement. there is something about that city that has captured our hearts. man, i hope that makes sense or else it sounds quite sensational. have you ever experienced that? it is pretty amazing. i was not able to shoot a ton but i managed to capture a few special shots that i plan on posting once i have time to process them.
on a side note i think i discovered yet another step in the right direction for my workflow which i am pretty excited about. it should speed up the processing as well as anchor my archiving and backups. it is the little things is it not?

Guava fruit, usually 4 to 12 cm long, are round or oval depending on the species. The outer skin may be rough, often with a bitter taste, or soft and sweet. Varying between species, the skin can be any thickness, is usually green before maturity, but becomes yellow, maroon, or green when ripe. Guava fruit generally have a pronounced and typical fragrance, similar to lemon rind but less sharp. Guava pulp may be sweet or sour, off-white ("white" guavas) to deep pink ("red" guavas), with the seeds in the central pulp of variable number and hardness, depending on species. - Excerpt from Wikipedia

Glinda the Good: Home is a place we all must find, child. It's not just a place where you eat or sleep. Home is knowing. Knowing your mind, knowing your heart, knowing your courage. If we know ourselves, we're always home, anywhere.

One of the painful memories that every drug addict has to face is the reality of what they did to their mothers. Many addicts resort to stealing from their mothers in order to pay for drugs like alcohol, heroin, cocaine and crack. Rehab is a place where most ...
