The "big bloom" never really materialized this year in the Phoenix area unfortunately. It's been patchy and sporadic at best but there are still many worthwhile areas to shoot.
This was taken from a trail where you see the side of Lost Dutchman when we met up with John www.flickr.com/photos/85213204@N00/ for an afternoon of shooting. Thanks for the cookies John:-)). At least we had a decent sky that day.
I've been very busy getting ready to head out of here shortly and head for the west coast. I will do my best to visit when I can. Still having computer issues (using my laptop for now) despite having it in to the "geek squad" numerous times. I'm about ready to pull my hair out or at the very least, put a contract out on a few "geeks"!!

Sony KD-55X7500F UHD Display. It is a real challenge to take videos of TV displays in well illuminated shops. Reflections from lights and multiple irregular moire structures make it always difficult to get a clean image.

I was lost in the middle of nowhere. I seemed to always end up back at this spot. At least it helped me realize I was going in circles.
White-breasted Water Hen
This birdy got lost and flew into the house. We just try to recover her and see that she's okay then release her. She's got big feet! But she's a nice birdy, very gentle, and not really scared of us. She looked healthy, her feathers with a shimmering sheen, her eyes good and alert, and her big feet ready to go!
