100 YEARS SEPARATES THE TWO BUILDINGS AND THERE IS SOME DEBATE AS TO THE POSITIONING OF THE NEW BUILDING - THE MORE I VISIT THE MORE I THINK THE PIER HEAD AREA HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH.

the lines on this building were so engrossing i forgot the name of this building.

I woke up ready to do something! I am going to get HALF the house clean...hehe! I don't want to take ALL the fun out of the day...I'll leave some of it for tomorrow. :P

We took a shore excursion through the cruise line. We took a bus about an hour and a half outside Belize City to the New River, and then a boat ride down the river for about an hour and a half until we reached the Lamanai Mayan ruins.

It seems odd to find mallard ducks in the 'burbs, but we have them come back around here every spring. There is a pond not far away, on the other side of the middle school across the street from my house, and further down into town, a large creek runs through. The lady has chosen a secluded spot in the shrubbery in my front foundation bed for her nest this year, and we have a good view from the window in our dining room. I thought he looked a bit like a sentry up there, watching out for all things untoward and malicious.
