Reeds by Utah Lake that have not yet realized its spring. Can't blame them when the weather can't decide what season it is either!
Grange Road - Birkenhead. There are a lot of buildings in this small part of the town - the upper parts used for storage or nothing in particular - the shops belw the usual high street 'tat' shop frontages or just empty
This was not the easiest tree to climb, but it gives a perspective of the size of the host tree which has completely rotted away.
Central Birkenhead and on a run down building - has been painted over and some none too subtle repair/strengthening work

normster: @reganref ha! I just looked up and then snapped it. I leave grid lines on so it's easier to get things straight and then i sorta see in a square when i'm shooting so i know how far/close to be. I hate having to crop out stuff. Many thanks for such a good compliment!

one of the great things about gafftape it that you can put it directly on a lamp, up to 1000 watts, apparently. this little guy is only 60 watts.
the thing is: the tape will stick, and be totally happy. but if you continually turn the lamp on and off daily over the course of... oh... say... three months, the adhesive will stay stuck to the lamp while the cloth crumbles and cracks away, becoming very much the brittleness and color of blue corn tortilla chips, at which point the whacking of the lighting fixture with anything so delicate as a twelve foot ladder will result in a little fake-blue-corn- fiestornado.
