Once again a building.. I'm a sucker for these kind of shots

From in the pool with the Coolpix

This Gertrude Street projection festival really gets you looking up! This is one design in a series projected onto public housing flats. It's a grainy photo but hopefully you get a sense of the scale - amazing!

This sculpture was erected at our local hospital this week. There is talk of them closing the hospital......???

I stumbled on workers assembling a tower crane at Robson and Granville Streets. Happily, I passed by just as they were starting to raise a new segment to the tower. Unhappily, I only had time to stay for this one segment.

This is the arm of the helper crane, bending a little under the load of a segment of the tower.

I love this stairwell. Only two more weeks of class and then it will be gone as a photographic subject. Of course, unless I take another class...

These photos were taken during a photo walk on York St in Albany, WA.

Looking up at some of the colourful and amazing kites.

Even powerlines are almost entirely missing!

A kind of urban petrified forest.

This is out in West Chelsea somewhere. Came across it accidentally whilst looking for Stella McCartney/Alexander McQueen and remember reading about the dotted glass windows. There's already a big crack in one of the ground-floor windows, which is gonna be a pain to replace.
