a quiet slope of stone, cut with late sun. two silhouettes cross the light—one tall with age, one tiny with wonder. their shadows stretch behind them like memories. there’s no rush, no noise—only the rhythm of steps in a frame that forgets time.

Yeah, I got nothin for the title. Shadow of big tech? Peg henge? Peggy in the middle?
Usual random encounter of objects, left over mini craft peg from my wings theme shot and the back of my keyboard.
the evening sun hung low in the city of arts and sciences, casting long shadows over the polished tiles of valencia. the cyclists came silently, their wheels gliding through light and shadow, their outlines stretching far behind them. the modern arches and geometric lines framed the scene, the architecture as much a part of the moment as the figures in motion. the sun, piercing through the skyline, broke into a starburst, bathing the world in sharp contrasts. there was no sound but the hum of tires and the whisper of a fading day. it was a fleeting moment—of rhythm, reflection, and the quiet poetry of movement.

Completely dazzled by the incredible sunrise this morning......I love this time of the year and how the sun is coming up along the streets pointing east. Need to get down to the Stary Rynek soon and capture it as it coming up over the horizon!

On Sunday we went to the Hawk Hill, located in the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco's Golden Gate. Waiting for sunset and moonrise, we lingered around at the top. When it was time for moonrise we walked through the tunnel. The sun aligned perfectly for a tunnel-henge, casting a long shadow on passerby.

I love these streets...and the low autumn sun means shadows all day 😎. There's been high, thin cloud with really bright sun, which gives everything a silver feel, drained of colour, dream-like and quiet.
The light has been so amazing the last few days that I've not wanted to go home, revisiting all my usual haunts to see how they look in this extraordinary weather. Hence so many pics. so apologies for that. No doubt they will be 'curated' later. But hey - 10,000+ steps a day!
