The source of genius is imagination alone, the refinement of the senses that sees what others do not see, or sees them differently.

A small bird tries to keep warm on a leafless tree in Madison, Wisconsin. Sorry, though I grew up on a farm I'm not very good at identifying song birds.

Gabriel has never scored a bird...if he'd lay off the cat food I might have to worry.

I have a lot of images from that beautiful park, and even if my thing it is to

applied textures to everything that came across to my path (my husband included), the colors on these flowers overcome my needs to texture them.

What A Wonderful World ~ Louis Armstrong"

Now it's closing time

Last call for drinks

I'll have another stout

Well I turn around to look at you

you're nowhere to be found

I search the place for your lost face

guess I'll have another round

And I think that I just fell in love with you

So there I was thinking, Delta 3200 can be pulled to 800 according to the dev sheet but .. why would you? Well, I quite liked Delta 3200 at 1600 but souped at 3.2k in D76, it had an attractive grain and a unique look. But I thought I'd take it one step further.

Firstly, why did I shoot at ISO 1000? The method to my madness was that since the top shutter speed of my M3 is an 1/1000th then it would be easy to follow the Sunny 16 rule and shoot at f/16@1000 in bright sunshine.

In the end, I wanted to see if shooting Delta 3200 pulled would give me results I preferred to shooting T-Max 400 pushed. And if it was preferable, would it be enough to justify the extra cost in both film and developing?

Another point of note is that as I have flown more times than a seagull with one leg, this film has been x-rayed too many times to count, probably in excess of 20 times. Would that be an issue?

My roll of T-Max400 at 1000 iso is on it's way, I'll post something off it after I soup it.

The smart birds have migrated southwards by now.

I was poking around on my computer and found these latest shots from when I was still using a point and shoot...just thought I'd stick them up for kicks. Humble beginnings, I suppose. Ya gotta start somewhere though, right?

"Water"

Tired of sleeping on the sidewalk,

Working at the bus stop night 'til morning;

Tired and waiting for the sunlight

When it comes, it's still dark where I'm going.

Don't punish me for what I feel

My face was numb, my lungs were sore

But still I swam until my feet could touch the shore

Now I've been sleeping on your porch

I'm still too scared to bust the lock on your door

So I crawled out of the back door

Took off all these tight clothes

Jumped into the water

I jumped into the water

Nach ein paar grauen und kalten Tagen freue ich mich wirklich auf die liebe warme Sonne!!
