晴空飄下了雨絲絲

人說是喜極而泣的淚珠

人說是從天落下的情絲

七夕雨 七夕雨 灑入情人的心深處

Hello Everyone and happy Sunday, What a cold a dreary day, I am all bundled up indoors, laundry going, dishes in the washer with a hot latte' I braved going down the few blocks to my favorite cafe' to buy. Sitting at the computer and in world talking to friends while working on a photo from last night, my girl friends came over to my linden home and we watched some Gabriel comedy on Youtube and talked, laughing silly as we tend to do, the boys were off doing their thing in a role play sim, hitting dragons or each other, I do not know, lol. It was so nice to spend an evening with old friends and showing off outfits we have made and looking forward to the coming Spring.

It was later on when they all logged off for the night that I sat in my living room picking up the tv and things I sat out for decoration when I suddenly had an overwhelming need to be kissed. To feel that warmth of another heartbeat next to yours, even in a cartoon world. I am not lonely, or sad, or anything like that, I am a very happy woman :) but I am sure other ladies can understand when I say say, sometimes, you just long to be kissed and have that person you care about and who cares about you close by, close enough you can reach out and touch and be touched. It was in that moment I wanted to take a photo as I had that overwhelming feeling, so I sat on my favorite floor cushion and took a photo. :)

I hope you all enjoy and again have an incredible Sunday and evening, thank you for allowing me to share my photo with you!

You can see the longing in the face of this squirrel as it sees the newly loaded bird feeder above. He is working out how to hog the lot I think!!

when we were young

nothing was our own

we lived in rooms of air

nothing mattered

but you and I and I and you

and that was more

than enough of a dream

we awakened into and

he who brought you

wildflowers that withered

after a day and she who

drove through the storm

to find me and he who

walked down icy streets

to your house and she

who always saw through

secret walls and touched

the hand of God – they

have not gone far, even

though they were once

young and soon, too

soon will never be so old

The sea always filled her with longing, though for what she was never sure.

Longing for springtime to arrive! I want to see butterflies, bees and other insects again, trees in bloom, birds nesting and me sitting in the sun!

“The restlessness and the longing, like the longing that is in the whistle of a faraway train. Except that the longing isn't really in the whistle—it is in you.”

. . . on this damp cold February day

you go your way

I'll go your way too.

Leonard Cohen, Book of Longing

“You do see me crossing the meadow

stiff and dead from the mist?

I long for that home,

that home I've never had,

and without any hope

that I'll ever be able to reach it.

For such a home, never touched,

I carry that longing that will

never die, like that meadow dies

stiff and dead from the mist.

You do see me crossing it, full of dread?”
