Fog rolls through the mysterious landscape of the Å umava Mountains during a summer sunrise.
Ach, aus dieses Tales Gründen,
Die der kalte Nebel drückt,
Könnt' ich doch den Ausgang finden,
Ach, wie fühlt' ich mich beglückt!
Dort erblick' ich schöne Hügel,
Ewig jung und ewig grün!
Hätt' ich Schwingen hätt ich Flügel,
Nach den Hügeln zög' ich hin.
Friedrich von Schiller
Translation:
Ah, from this valley's grounds
that cold mists are pressing,
if I could only find a way out,
ah, how lucky I would feel!
Over there I glimpse pretty hills,
ever young and ever green!
If I had flight, if I had wings,
I would float over to those hills.

We've had stormy and rainy weather the last couple of days - sunshine please come back. :) This picture feels so summery, just what I need today. Have a great weekend everyone!
Processed with Florabella textures painterly cool (overlay) and milk and honey overlay (soft light). :)
HSOYF!
Another rainy and cold day..... reworked my summer wildflower photo, digitally framed for presentation purpose. Happy Sunday friends.
Had this image pop in my head of a Lego robot holding a heart shaped balloon and looking into his chest. Had to build it.
air flowing gently into the chest
light waterfall
soft petals kissing eyelids
squinting rainbow rays
life - full, open, untainted
butterfly touch on skin
translucent pages from a book
written and burnt so many times
to a crisp
- an exquisite blackness
that holds
so much hope among debris
(thank heavens)
one cannot tell them apart
anymore.
I really liked this old trawler, propped up in a boatyard and seemingly looking out beyond the fence, to the sea. Thinking back to past glories.

As the title says
Autumn is my most favourite season as a landscape tog and as a human :)
It offers so much from foggy woods to misty landscapes and nice clear night skies for astro with some lovely fungus thrown into the mix for good measure :)
If I look out of the window I see a snowy landscape illuminated by the cold light of the winter sun.
I think longingly of home, the warm and bright sun over Malibu, Zuma Beach.....
Hmm, maybe it`s time to book my flights.
So have a look at the vid and accompany me in my dreams, guys!

Spring is my favorite time of the year. Everything is green and lush. This was taken in late June and technically it is summer. But it had a spring feel to it with everything green and growing wild. That is until the true "Dogs of Summer" hit. As they did this summer.

These days I've been extremely busy. To the point where I've been spending 10 hours a day editing on the computer. It's amazing that I get to do client work, but I haven't been able to get out and do personal shoots as much. I have several pages of ideas filled in my notebook that have been laying around for months, but have yet to be realized. Hopefully they will be soon.
In the meantime, I have found a secluded location about 20 minutes up my mountain, which is the same place that "I Dream in Crimson" was taken. (Link below) Today I hauled a suitcase up there, filled with outfits, a tripod, and my camera.
I think that when I feel like I need a break from client work, from emotions, from a set idea or theme, I will visit this place.
Blog post coming soon :)
Always,
Reylia
