Lock 48 is one of the Four Locks on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal that are located near Clear Spring, Maryland.

Drove up to Lock and Dam 14 to try my luck at photographing eagles. About 5 hours total driving for the day but was definitely worth the trip. Cant wait to go back next year.

Wow! Things sure have changed since we had Mason two years ago. They are now locking down the formula at Walgreens.
I've been locked up in my little studio long enough. Time to get out there this morning. I almost forget how nice it is to walk through the forest when there's no one there but me. It's been too long.
I saw a row deer this morning. Not enough light to get a good shot unfortunately, but like I said it was just great to be out there again.
On my way back home I stopped to take this shot of the beautiful hills in Gulpen/Wittem. I have to get out there more.
